Illuminarium

The Illuminarium is a lights show performed at the Landesmuseum right next to the main train station in Zurich. It usually takes place in the Winter from mid-November until the end of December. The front courtyard of the museum is free for all visitors at any time of the day. It offers a magical Winter landscape full of lights, music, and illumination as well as a variety of food, sweets and drinks including mulled wine and glowing cotton candy. There is also a Lights Palace presenting installations providing a cozy atmosphere to sit down and chat with friends. The bar offers glow-in-the-dark cocktails and drinks. 

In the back of the courtyard, visitors can watch a 25 minute light show for which they need to buy a ticket costing 13.50 CHF for adults, 8.50 CHF for teenagers and 5.50 CHF for children. It includes projections and installations for the children, showing…
