Zurich Open Air

Zurich is well worth visiting, especially in the summertime. One event that has been particularly popular amongst teenagers and young adults is the annual Zurich Openair Festival as it is a perfect opportunity to socialize while still enjoying an eventful night of tunes and harmony. For all those music lovers out there, this is an event for you! The festival takes place each year at the end of August, where over the course of four days, crowds are swept off their feet by the delightful fuse of music and dancing.  Situated near Zurich Airport, it's also an ideal event for travellers and people coming from abroad.

Whether it be crooning to your favorite indie band near the Tent Stage or thumping along to a Berliner DJ in the Cube club - you can find your spot in the crowd no matter your taste. If you want to see some big stars, no need to go to Coachella - from the Swedish House Mafia to Calvin Harris and Macklemore, there's plenty of red-carpet power coming to Zurich. For example, this year Billie Eilish, known for her crazy, impulsive dances and close interactions with her fans, performed a dynamic set at the festival.

Want a small break? Take some refreshments at the idyllic Gin Garden or the Feldschlösschen mini-brewery. Don't worry if you're still a freshman: from gourmet hot dogs to Palestinian food trucks and churro stands - this is a foodie's heaven as well as a hedonist's playground.

The ‘flex’ ticket, starting from CHF 109.- allows for a flexible day selection, meaning that if you find yourself really enjoying the vibe, you can quickly add another day to you experience, or you can upgrade to an exclusive ‘VIP experience’. The ‘VIP’ ticket, starting from CHF 159.- is perfect if you are striving for an exclusive festival experience with a fast entrance line along with a VIP bar and VIP platform.
