Artisan is a "kitchen and urban garden” open from 10:30 - 14:00 that serves many dishes: from buckwheat pancakes and waffles to steak and eggs, as well as larger dishes such as a Lebanese-inspired “Garden Breakfast” plate including feta, hummus, baba ganoush, flatbread and much more. Babus Bakery is both the perfect place to grab a coffee and bagel on your way to school and somewhere to grab brunch with a group of friends. It is also conveniently located just around the corner from Vior, a popular club, so if you party until sunrise - Babus opens at 7 am, so grab a quick snack for the road.
If you’re looking for a healthier option, Roots, a vegan restaurant, serves packed acai bowls, the best avocado toast in town and a range of smoothies and juices. Joe and the Juice, a similar type of restaurant to Roots, also has a range of creatively named juices, shakes, and shots - not the alcoholic kind.
Rooftop Ooo, otherwise known as “Modissa” is a well-known rooftop bar and restaurant that serves brunch, lunch, and dinner. Before you begin your exhausting shopping spree on Bahnhofstrasse, head to the brunch where fresh fruit and pastries are sprawled out in bowls along the bar and colorful mimosas are served. Sprungli is a tourist hotspot in the summer. Although many of the brand's smaller bakeries are spread around Zurich, the only restaurant is on the corner of Paradeplatz. Its takeaway carrot salads and sandwiches, although pricey, are delicious. It's also a lovely place to have a coffee and share a box of fresh-made Luxemburgerli macaroons that you’ve picked out yourself. There is no such thing as being fashionably late in Bohemia, famous for having brunch from 9:00 - 16:00. It serves everything from fancy bagels and swiss muesli to English breakfast and chia pudding. The final breakfast option is Fork and Bottle’s weekend brunch which serves a selection of savory dishes, a range of pancakes and even breakfast cocktails and beers!
